Jonathan Ellis: Slow to build but worth the wait. ♦♦♦♦♦ (5/5)

“Second time reading this book the first time was on watt pad but I wanted to support the writer and had to buy the book when I found it here. Slightly different ending than the first time around I still feel the need for the next book and would love to see more of Bee and her story. About the story, a tormented soul on a path to some violent catharsis while making and loosing friends along the way. Trust is given earned and lost but she will not give up. I feel like this story could have some kind of dark lullaby written about it.”

Lisa M. Abernethy: Fun but gritty space pirate adventure. ♦♦♦♦◊ (4/5)

“This story was basically a science fiction version of Treasure Island. That said, I still thoroughly enjoyed the world building, the characters, and the action and adventure. There were enough differences that the story was not too predictable. I only really have two complaints. One is the ending, I didn’t understand it and felt very unfulfilled… What happens to everyone else?!
Second con was the inaccurate vocabulary regarding prosthetic limbs. This a personal pet peeve of mine.
Prosthesis (noun, singular)
Prostheses (noun, plural)
Prosthetic (adjective) Example: I have a prosthetic limb.

Overall I very much enjoyed the book and would read more by this author.”
